— Heatwave in the Valley of Hinnom · Rei Kagan —

In 1975, eight years after Jerusalem was unified, Avner Treinin wrote the poem "Heatwave in the Valley of Ben-Hinnom." The poem portrays the Old City as the site of an act of sacrifice that repeats itself throughout history and seems to have taken root deep in the earth, from the Binding of Isaac to the present day.

In the performance we search between the poem's lines for stories and actions through which we try to tell a larger story: a story of a land that by its nature demands an impossible debt, a debt that has gone unredeemed for thousands of years.

— Breaking Point · Dana Gavrieli —

Breaking Point is a sound, performance and live-music piece that plays with the space it takes place in, in mixed languages. It's not at all clear what the space actually is, but it seems that somewhere there's a ball.

If the balls are blind, I try to look through a wheel that is not an eye. And if they aren't? What does the point everyone is following see? It is seen, and in its wake come stains of victories and breaks – there's a game.

This is an invitation to play in a world where the ball is round to the senses, but not only, its senses sharpened through shifting incarnations. Maybe together we'll discover something about broken circles, and maybe we'll just roll away from there.
